Though this rig can be used for slow jigging without any bait, we reccomend to use baits like fresh shrimp. Tie the main line to the rod side end of the rig and attach a sinker weight on the sinker side end of the rig. Allow the sinker to sink down to the bottom, when you feel the first bite, move your rod tip up and down slowly several times so more fish will follow and bite the baited hooks. One may also use these rigs (baited) from the shore with sandy bottom for Ladyfish and other species.
