Make a knot on the fishing line and tie it to the reel. By grasping the line with your hand, you can create tension. If you have a lot of line to the reel, cover it with a smooth towel. Reel in a new line slowly on the fishing reel. Continue to reel in more fishing lines until you have enough space between the reel’s spool and the edge of the spool.
